Bio
Lisa Casey, PLA, LEED AP BD-C
As an intern at Studio Outside in 2017, Chandler had maturity and awareness that distinguished him from the other interns. In fact, I mistook him for a recent graduate at that time. For the last half of 2019, we collaborated on a park project starting from design development through bidding and he demonstrated professionalism, conscientiousness, and thoroughness throughout our work together. He had worked almost solo on the project with a principal through schematic design and carried out project management tasks well beyond his years of experience with tact and innate skill. What made this even more impressive was that all of his previous project experience had been on private sector multifamily so he was learning and doing simultaneously. He is probably the most promising and naturally talented entry level designer that I’ve seen for project management out of the dozen landscape designers or interns that I have had the privilege to lead over the past few years. His positive attitude and understanding of team dynamics make him a great asset for any firm.
