      • Sep 2016 - Aug 2018

As an intern for the Strategic Partnerships team within University of Michigan Athletics, I assist with the business operations of the team. Strategic Partnerships deals with university, community, and corporate partnerships, external marketing, donation and speaking requests, and the Kids Go Blue Club. While in the office, I am assigned tasks are they are needed to be done. This includes responding to fan letters and donation requests, updating the donation inventory, or distributing marketing materials around campus. Another responsibility that I have as an intern is to work at Kids Go Blue Club events. The Kids Go Blue Club is the official Michigan fan club for kids. By attending games, kids can earn points towards special prizes at the end of the year. At select athletic events each year, I am responsible for engaging with kids and families who attend the event and seeing if they are interesting in joining the kids club. For the kids who are already members, I assist with checking them into the event. Show less

    • Building Supervisor and Studnet Coordinator
      • Sep 2014 - Aug 2017

As a Building Supervisor, it was my responsibility to manage the Central Campus Recreational Building during my shifts. I worked with a team of over 20 other supervisors in order to cover all shifts during the week, since the building is open over twelve hours each day of the week. During shifts, I worked by myself or with another supervisor to make sure that the operations of the building run smoothly. Responsibilities during the shift included making hourly rounds of the building, checking on Frontline Staff at multiple locations and answering their questions, helping to sell memberships in the main office, executing cashouts at the end of Frontline Staff shifts, and attending to any other building needs. As a Student Coordinator, it was my responsibility to manage the other Building Supervisors at the CCRB. I managed a portion of the supervisors directly, keeping up with their development and evaluating their performance and growth. In addition, I had time in the office to work on various assigned projects. Show less

      • May 2016 - Aug 2016

Fort Mackinac was an active military fort from 1780 until 1895 for both the British and the Americans. Now, Fort Mackinac serves as an education site where visitors can learn about army life at Fort Mackinac and other historically relevant information. As a Historical Interpreter, I dressed in historically accurate 1880s United States Army attire and engaged with visitors to the fort. Some people learn by reading signs and exploring the exhibits around the fort, but others learn by listening. It was my job to present demonstrations in an interesting and engaging way. Also, I was available for visitors to ask questions about things that they have seen at the fort. A requirement for this job, I needed to know all of the relevant information and craft the different demonstrations using my own presentation style. Show less
