During the period of training (2 years) I familiarised myself with the management of patients presenting with various obstetric and gynaecological problems. At first I worked under supervision for about 4 months, and then I worked independently to some extent. I performed my first caesarean section after 4 months and my first vaginal hysterectomy after about one year from the start of training. Our system allows the resident to practice both obstetrics and gynaecology simultaneously. I was dealing with the outpatient clinics 3 times a week. Show less
