Provide advisory services to global telecommunication service provider by crafting recommendations that meet clients’ objective in telecommunication network expansion, service improvement, risk management and CAPEX investment optimization to sustain clients’ organic growth in Asia Pacific region. • Consulted new client on business expansion into Malaysia who lack of resource on the ground: Led technical and commercial discussion and analyzed suitable partnership model that can be applied. Designed and recommended new network solution with lower cost structure by leveraging on TM’s network resources to boost client’s footprint expansion in Malaysia. Recommendation was implemented and client’s footprint was expanded to 51 sites within 2 years. • Maintained high service availability of a mission critical cloud service provider up to 99.999% which is equivalent to a down time of 6 minutes in a year: Reviewed the risk that the client was taking based on existing network architecture and proposed network optimization by eliminated numerous single point of failure (SPOF). Rerouted the problematic network paths and introduced redundant paths into client’s network topology. Client’s optimized network was able to withstand multiple fibers cut as a result. • Connected 3 data centers of a highly reputable cloud service provider in Malaysia with abnormally high bandwidth at optimum cost within the shortest lead time: Accessed the business strategies of client, including analysis of data traffic trend, product launch schedule and total capital expenditure (CAPEX) allocated for the initial network set up. Reduced CAPEX investment of client by close to 80% by provided a customized bandwidth solution after evaluating financial impact to internal. Client’s data centers were connected in 3 months and were able to serve new product subscribers in Malaysia. As the client grew with company, revenue is boosted by USD 3.36 million in 2016. Show less
