I participated in a design-driven process to identify critical features for the product by working with design team members to interview customers to collect a description of their business needs relating to container license management and then analyzing that data and validating product mockups with those customers to validate our understanding. Following the discovery phase, I translated the validated customer business requirements into technical requirements with input from senior engineers and engineering management and developed a feature backlog and initial prioritization. I then managed the backlog through product development and liaised with other departments and product managers to manage cross-department dependencies between our product and the platform team and application identification team. Additionally, I worked with the design team to perform ongoing product validation with key customers as functionality was completed. At the same time, I continued to act as product manager for our legacy Hybrid Cloud CMP product.
