A really exciting new career direction for me. First time in sales and relationship management. I love new challenges and this is how I saw this opportunity. I was lucky enough to be given just under one million dollars worth of clients which I got to look after and grow. I have recently been moved into our city store where I had to build my own customer base from zero. And just after two month I have 19 clients with an average spend of $14000pa. I have also been privileged enough to be put under the wing of a strong marketing manager who actively teaches through client contact. My duties here involve: • Relationship management • Cold calling, Friendship bagging • Re-connecting strategies • Quoting • Development of new/current and lapsed accounts • Report writing • Attending and reporting at daily, weekly and monthly meetings • Able to assess situations, implement appropriate measures and monitor progress. • Sound interpersonal skills. • Able to liase and negotiate at all levels. • Develop perception and conceptual thinking skills. • Problem solving and decision making skills. • Able to control emotion and apply sound listening skills
