Chad is a detailed oriented careful scientist. This serves him well in all aspects of the scientific process. You can be guaranteed Chad will have thoroughly considered all details of experimental design, data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation. Chad is also able to communicate his considerations in a way that makes him an excellent member of any team, because he is always willing to teach others why something is relevant and important. He is also not afraid to ask the right questions when he isn’t the expert because he is always excited to learn. In addition to his role as a scientist Chad is an excellent role model. He joined the Odom-John lab one year before I also became a graduate student in the same lab. He has been invaluable in learning how to navigate through the graduate school process. Additionally, his professionalism does not preclude his ability to connect on a personal level. Chad can always bring light to any difficulty he or others may face. Anyone would be lucky to have Chad as part of their work environment.
