February 2011 To whom it may concern: I am glad to write a letter of support for Chad Metcalf. He would be a valuable asset in whatever career he is seeking. Chad worked at the American Association of the Deaf-Blind (AADB), a national advocacy organization of, by and for people who have all types and degrees of combined vision and hearing losses from 2006 to 2010. In this position, he was responsible for recruiting individuals and businesses to become members of AADB. He served as a graphic designer for our publications, including our magazine, The Deaf-Blind American, and our brochures and informational materials. He also took on additional responsibilities, including fundraising for our organization. I have worked as Chad’s supervisor from 2007 to 2010. Through the years, Chad has demonstrated a great work ethic. He is full of fresh ideas, is a problem-solver, and is always willing to take on additional responsibilities to help our organization. He is professional, works well independently and as part of a team, relates well with people, and has a great sense of humor. Chad would be a great asset to your organization. Please let me know if I can provide any further assistance or information. I can be reached at etspiers@aol.com Sincerely, Elizabeth Spiers Elizabeth Spiers
