From 2009 to 2017, Chad was the Program Manager for Special Projects Dallas Legacy Programs and Training Systems. Chad's responsibilities included the development, integration, test and sustainment of fielded mission systems and services for the Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS) as well as development of high fidelity training systems for the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program. While in this role, Chad led an organization of more than 130 individuals and major subcontractors to execute a multi-year development effort, delivering a suite of high-fidelity training simulators and training curriculum on time and within budget to the Navy in 2016. Also in this assignment, he led a sustainment contract effort for the fielded LSRS mission system that exceeded availability requirements within budget every year. In parallel with the sustainment contract, he oversaw a modification program for the LSRS mission computing architecture that had a successful first flight in early 2017.

From 2006 to 2009, Chad was the deputy product manager and chief engineer for the Centralized Controller Device (CCD) on the Army’s Future Combat Systems (FCS) program, responsible for capability development and integration of the CCD prime item with manned systems, unmanned systems, and the dismounted soldier within the Army's future brigade structure. He led a multi-disciplined design team and subcontractor through critical design and successful prototype testing in 2009.

In the years that followed, he held various engineering and management positions of increasing responsibility in Boeing’s Missile Defense Systems and Combat Systems divisions working in Huntsville, AL, Arlington, VA, and St. Louis, MO. Chad holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California; and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Chad completed the Executive MBA program at Southern Methodist University in 2014 and is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University Program Manager’s Course at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
