The Thermal Explorer Event Investment Panel is an International Marketing Alliance (IMA) with two representatives from each of the four regions Hamilton & Waikato, Rotorua, Taupō, and Ruapehu, for the purpose of managing the $3.75 million Regional Events Fund. Lead the operational functions for Claudelands Events Centre, FMG Stadium Waikato, Seddon Park and Founders Theatre. I have also led Hamilton's Major Events programme since 2014 including events such as the ICC Men's and Women's Cricket World Cups (2015 & 2022), the FIFA Men's U-20 and Women's World Cups (2015 & 2023) and the HSBC NZ Sevens (2018-2020).
