I met Chad 18 years ago when I took over the supervision and management of our Office Services area which included office supplies/office products for our national Real Estate Development Company with 7 divisional offices. Shortly after taking over the offices services area, in addition to managing the Company’s Human Resources department, I moved all of our business from a local office supply firm, Bubricks Office Supply to Corporate Express (which was eventually purchased by Staples). I believe Chad was very early on in his career at Staples but he was our account representative/manager and he was very instrumental in our decision to make a move to a new company at that time. He made a very persuasive argument as to why we should move our business to Staples. He had a great presentation and backed it up with superb, personalized customer service. He always made us feel like we were his only client and made sure we were happy and that any problems/challenges we had were resolved with care. Chad is a very positive, warm and welcoming individual. He knows how to give and manage his employees for excellent customer service. His goal is always to have his company (Corporate Express/Staples) be thought of as number one and he always strives for excellence. About 6 or 7 years after, Chad was promoted to District Sales Manager and he then supervised our account manager and others (not sure how many). In that role he made sure he mentored our account mgr. and made sure he understood how important that customer service role is. We were also super happy with our new rep and Chad in the role above him. I believe not long after that Chad was promoted again. Chad obviously is skilled at client retention since we are still with Staples all these 18 years later. Now all these years later we are still with Staples and have expanded the product lines that we purchase from Staples. I no longer have that much contact with Chad but when I do it is always great to see him and catch up. I would never hesitate to contact Chad if I had a problem and didn’t know where to go and I know he would do his utmost to take care of the situation. I would highly recommend Chad for any management role and for his outstanding customer service skills and abilities. Working with Chad was and is truly a pleasure.
