Conceives, funds, launches and executes the Council's newest revenue generating initiatives, including: ~The National Commission on Competitiveness and Innovation Frontiers - a C-suite research and advocacy effort to prioritize America's talent, emerging technology and infrastructure investments. ~The Exploring Innovation Frontiers Initiative - a regional, grassroots policy exercise with the National Science Foundation to articulate a 21st century U.S. innovation agenda. ~The National Engineering Forum - a national research and conversation series led with the CTO of Lockheed Martin to elevate attention to the roles engineers and the engineering enterprise play in U.S. prosperity (www.nationalengineeringforum.com). ~The Advanced Computing Roundtable - a sustained gathering of 40 of America's top minds in high performance computing to conduct original research, surveys and fora to support the technology, research and development goals of the National Strategic Computing Initiative. ~The American Energy & Manufacturing Competitiveness Partnership - a $3 million+, multi-year engagement with the U.S. Department of Energy to develop new-to-the-world public-private partnerships to improve U.S. manufacturing and energy productivity. ~A unite suite of research with Deloitte and Singularity Univeristy, including the "Global Manufacturing Competitiveness Index," the "Advance Technologies Initiative," and the "Impact of Exponential Technologies on Manufacturing" study. ~The U.S.-Brazil Innovation Immersion and U.S.-Australia CTO Conversations to spur talent exchange, technology development and transfer, and innovation-enhancing partnership. ~The Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils (www.thegfcc.org) - serving as treasurer.
