      I started with Playground at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in WV where I was a resale specialist. As I grew I wanted more of a challenge so I left Snowshoe in June of 2007 to join my first launch team in the Smoky Mountains of TN where we had a very successful launch of Wilderness at the Smokies despite the market conditions. As a result of the 2008/current financial crisis I moved to Redmond, WA to work as a closing specialist for Intrawest's newest resort - Honua Kai in Ka'anapali Beach, Maui - and Wilderness at the Smokies in TN. Never before had we seen over a $1B in real estate sold with no financing for the buyers in a bear market so a small group of us were proactive and met the challenge head on. It was a very interesting experience and although highly stressful, I learned a lot. I'm happy to include this as "past experience". I moved to Maui in 2009 and helped sell the remaining inventory at Honua Kai through 2011 at which point I "outgrew" the position. I'm happy to say both of these resorts are now open and have quickly become the top resorts in their markets. Show less

      Specialized in rural land sales in Pocahontas County WV. Red Oak had over 400 listings in 11 counties while I was on their team. I sold mostly raw land and loved it. I miss getting out of the office and showing property with topo maps and compass, but I don't miss the rattlesnakes! My short time with Red Oak was a great experience.       I started this small fencing company on accident and it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done. Thanks to the local community of farmers in WV I was able to pay for my college education and graduate with no debt. I often sit at my desk and daydream about manual labor and what it was like to get up at the crack of dawn to drive posts by hand with my great grandfather's 20lb maul. This job taught me a lot about the value of a dollar and gave me the work ethic of Paul Bunyan! I started this small fencing company on accident and it turned out to be one of the best things I've ever done. Thanks to the local community of farmers in WV I was able to pay for my college education and graduate with no debt. From there I moved into bar-backing, serving, supervising, etc. part time while I was going to college. I believe I'm the salesperson I am today because of waiting tables at Cornerstone. I met a lot of interesting guests/owners in that position. Snowshoe has a wonderful F&B team and I am thankful to have worked with all of them.
