I taugh animal behavior to graduate students. I collected and analyzed data about the ecology, and behavior of shorebirds. Those data were used to demonstrate (1) how human disturbances can impact birds in positive and negative ways and (2) why the presence of birds is important to the maintenance of ecosystems.
