Strength&Conditioning • Development and provision of a varied and evidence-based strength and conditioning programmes for the pupils. • Developing an Elite Player Pathway programme designed to sustain effective performance pathways whereby talented pupils can be identified, learn, develop and thrive within their sport. • Leading one to one and group sessions ensuring that the correct technique/methods are used. • Liaising with heads of sport to design specific performance programmes and to reduce risks of injury and use analytical skills. • Evaluating pupils and performing baseline tests. • Using and analysing the athletes’ data to observe and assess the effectiveness of programmes. • Communicating with students and addressing individual nutritional and supplemental guidance. • Linking with the Director of Sport to report/replace any equipment that is unsafe, broken, or has evident wear and tear. Sports Rehabilitation • Planning and coaching evidence-based rehabilitation programmes for students across multiple sports with a range of injuries. • Implementing pool recovery and active recovery sessions post games. • Communicating with our Welfare Centre to report any major injuries and progress. Pitchside • Providing initial treatment, strapping and stretches to players pre/during/post fixtures. • Providing first aid, immediate care on fixtures. • Complete and circulate post-match injury reports to the Welfare Centre • Working with the 1st XV Rugby Team, 1st VII Netball Team, 1st XI Hockey Team. Coaching • Providing support to the Director of Sport in the delivery of the games programme and general management of the sports department. • Coaching multiple sports across the year. Pastoral • A boarding house tutor providing pastoral support and pupil supervision in a house that consists of students that range from year 6 to year 8. • Liaising with house parents to monitor the wellbeing of the pupils.

Assistant Camp Operations Manager/Welfare

Assisting the Camp Operations Manager in running the camp with particular responsibility for staff management. Working closely with the Operation Manager to ensure that the camps are run in a safe and secure way and dealing with any welfare or health and safety issues that may arise. Acting as first aid for minor/serious injuries that might occur and responsible for general welfare during the day/evening. Additional responsibility of providing social media coverage for the hockey camp over the week and to develop a promotional video for the camp.
