I have had the pleasure of working with Celean over the past few years as a Trustee for the Association of Child Protection Professionals (formerly the British Association for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect). During her time as director of the Association, Celean steered us through a very successful name change and rebranding. Celean brought clarity and insight and an ability to make decisions and move things forward, even within some very challenging areas. As the convenor of an important international congress on safeguarding children I particularly appreciated the calm and clear way in which she steered us through setting up and delivering what turned out to be an extremely inspiring and thought-provoking congress.

Celean is a bright, personable and tenacious individual with well-developed communications skills, huge moral integrity and tacit negotiation skills. She has been highly influential in generating change and has a very well honed understanding of recognising pathways to impact and engagement. She has highly developed skills in finance and resource management and has great drive in achieving any task to which she applies herself.
