Ernst Lobbezoo
I met Cees after his turbulent mission in Kosovo. He and some of his men came back to the Netherlands and were ordered to start up a new unit, under my command, with artillerymen gathered all over the country. His Kosovo-experience contributed to a new and modernized way of artillery work, that helped to make our unit ready for multiple and broad tasking. His dedication to our men and the army were remarkable and he gained, though going against the mainstream also assures some reluctance in his professional environment, a lot of respect of the people that worked close to him.

Cees was a senior member of the Brigade Staff when I joined the unit fresh out of the Military Academy. He took it upon himself to guide & coach me through the beginnings and we became close friends as a result of this. He is a very insightful people-manager who has extensive knowledge in numerous areas. Cees always knew how to motivate me, even in dreadful situations and is able to always get the very best out of his people. He always was the tireless worker who made things happen. His ability to set things in perspective, in order not to loose sight of the greater goal, was and remains legendary.

With this gourmet mustard initiative we succeeded in making the "circle round" and provide Saskatchewan grown and processed gourmet mustard to the public.Gravelbourg Mustard produces a variaty of gourmet mustard products. We started in 2008 with three unique flavours of gourmet mustard and decided to sell the company to Mrs. Valery Michaud in 2011.
