Since Hurricane Sandy, the City of New York has pushed forward more sustainable and resilient methodologies for the rise of climate change. Based in Jamaica Bay, Queens, we focus on Nature and Natural based features that create coastal sustainability and resiliency. The Institute of Jamaica Bay approaches these issues using different methodologies- i.e. community outreach, science research, and long-term strategic planning are only a few to mention.
