Post Transaction Domain Lead • Lead for Online Returns, Help Center, Staples Business Advantage (SBA). Followed agile development processes; Acted as Scrum master while the team was looking for a new scrum master. Used the Scrumban approach Microservices Development - Spring, Spring Boot, Eureka, Zuul, Feign, Hiera, database • Implemented the microservices for Order Details for Canada, Order Cancel ; Led the overall projects, end to end testing and supported go live; • Led the project to create a Transaction Summary/Invoice PDF. Analyzed technologies and approaches and chose Apache Velocity to generate xml from the microservices JSON response which is then used by Apache FOP (Formatting Objects Processor) to generate the PDF. Wrote the UI, business and database tier microservices for Staples.com. Worked with the business and customer service to verify. Global Notification Platform (GNP) – Spring, Restful web services • Integrated Preference Center checking for notifications; Implemented push and SMS in GNP using rest calls to mobile services. Enhanced the rest implementation to support authorization and JSON payload and implemented pooling for performance improvements. Led the end to end testing across multiple teams. Migrated the Order Confirmation Email and many other notifications to GNP; Supported testing. Online Returns – WCS, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices • Led the team in the design and development of an automated version of Online Returns. The initial version sent emails to customer service to do the return. The automated version retrieves eligibility rules for an order from SOMS using a restful web service, to restrict return of items that aren’t eligible for return and then sends the return to SOMS via a restful web service for automated return. • Converted Online returns from apache CXF to Spring Boot and updated to call microservices instead of the WCS APIs as part of migration to get off of WCS.
