  This is photography project focusing on how sustainability is intrinsic and accessible in low income communities. My goal is to battle the narrative that the perquisite for being sustainable is to be a white, upper class, individual. In turn, it is almost a competition on who can buy more items from the most ethical sources. However, sustainability does not have to require people to completely upend their lives and it is proven in the area I grew up in, West Haven, Connecticut. I will be using recycled paper to make zines with my photography. I will also learn HTML and CSS to make a blog for the photos, making it available to all. Show less
