Cece has been an exceptional leader and mentor during my time working with them at Weedmaps. Their dedication and support as my manager has played a crucial role in my professional development and growth. Cece’s commitment to the team's success, combined with their unique and quirky personality, creates both an inspiring and enjoyable work environment. It was an absolute pleasure working with Cece.

I had the pleasure of working with Cece on the Growth squad at Weedmaps. We partnered closely on various initiatives, including but not limited to A/B tests on consumer features (often running several at once), overhauling the taxonomy of the marketplace, and increasing registrations on our site/apps. In addition to managing a team of 10 engineers, Cece led all of our scrum ceremonies, maintained a spreadsheet of all of our ongoing projects and their statuses, and floated up feedback from ICs to leadership. Despite the massive workload and packed schedule, Cece was always positive, driven, and efficient as a teammate. Their upbeat energy, sense of humor, and commitment to pushing the team to get projects across the finish line made work enjoyable, as well as made our team an unstoppable force. One of the best parts of product development is reviewing data on a successful experiment - and then converting that experiment into a permanent feature. Cece's leadership and dedication made this a common occurrence on the Growth squad. This in turn made the team feel motivated and valued, which has helped with retaining developers on our team. In the last year, we have had 0 IC engineers leave the Growth squad - and I believe this is largely due to Cece's leadership. I always felt that Cece was candid, approachable, and genuine in our conversations - whether about work or our personal lives. I have nothing but good things to say about Cece and hope to cross paths with them again in the future. Any engineering team would be lucky to have Cece at the helm.
