Being a Hospitality Staff Member comes with lots of responsibility and a value for accuracy of meeting the consumers demands, I take pride in providing a service which also then becomes a connection. In my particular role I work in the conference box area helping employees of Mitton Group and other businesses partnered up with the Football Club to have a great time.

My role is to cover the ground and area of what needs to be cleaned, Keeping the environment organised is a reflection of one's mentality. Productivity goes a long way because of a clean and safe environment, Eliminating health risks is what I look for. I easily have adapted and grew fonder and stronger of what labour must be like for others which is why I've delved into this role.

Probably one of my roughest conditions to work in, With boots that strain your feet doing 8 hour shifts full time and overtime built up a lot of stress and sacrifice to what I used to enjoy doing. M&S has taught me a lot of discipline and seriousness to work, Although it wasn't the best thing to do I had to skip breakfast because of needing to be in at 6AM. The job involved scanning at least 2,000 items a day and placing them in totes for them to be re-assessed by pickers, I'd even be sent to do tote-cleaning, pushing heavy loads and carrying them with pallet trucks.

This co-aligned with EY (Ernst & Young), It was the first time they had decided to partner up and put us under a programme of group writing, presentations and visiting courts and experiencing hearings, This was very knowledgeable and a eye opener for the real world for offences such as robberies, hate crime and white collar crime.

I worked towards a Level 2 Adult CMI Qualification, Working at one of the largest accounting firms was a blessing in disguise. It taught me self-confidence from rising up in the crowd to present, Even when nervous to carry on and building upon that has made me gain clarity over what I say and improvise a little more better. It also worked well with projects such as Dragons Den Pitches which allowed me to demonstrate the effect of Social Enterprising my Idea has on the world.

Being a Sales Associate gave me the best communication skills simply because of being trained to have a etiquette towards others, Demonstrating a simple gesture like asking them if they need help already familiarises themselves with you. It's an advantage to become the approachable person and gives you the right balance between body language.
