Ceara opened my eyes to how user-centered design works from Day 1. She brings myself and the products I'm working on brings out the best in the design process. She also is a magnet for the best UX/UI designers - through Pencil and Paper, I've gotten to work with some real A-Players. Her superpower as a designer is taking a whirlwind of ideas and chaos and turn it into rich and exciting experience. I'm always excited to start new work with her. To say that Ceara is a fast learner would not describe the full extent to which she masters a set of skills in a short period of time. When Ceara came to our team she was full of potential and visual design skill. Within the period of a year not only did Ceara master the full breadth of UX under my perfection-seeking UX manager, but she also was leading and mentoring other team members within UX, development, all while providing significant input into product strategy. Ceara is one those employees: a rockstar, a unicorn, whatever you call them where you are. They don’t come along all that often. I wouldn’t pigeon-hole her in UX either. I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw a Linkedin update and she was leading Product Management/Owners or engineering something completely different from software
