Bio
Robert J. Brooks
I've known Nonso for close to 7 years now when he, myself, and a group of other very skilled media specialist in training were spending many late nights in a computer lab working on projects for class or just playing around with software and teaching each other different techniques or critiquing each other's work. Over the years, I can honestly say its rare to find a group of individuals that you have such an accord with like that, and even more so to stay in touch with them. Nonso is one those individuals that stands out because since that time, we have worked together and continued to stay in touch. He is always pushing forward and remaining positive regardless of the obstacles in front of him. And just as, if not more, importantly, he is reliable. If he says he has your back or is going to do something, he follows through even if there is no immediate gain for him. This type of loyalty is not often seen in business or friends, however, Nonso reflects it in both.
Vinicio Meassi
I would like to personally recommend Nonso Ilogu. Last year, I was Nonso's colleague at the New York State Assembly. I found him to be a self-starter, hard working employee, with a very good work ethic and motivation in accomplishing his tasks. I was also impressed by his emotional maturity in dealing with other politicians, colleagues and constituents. Along with being a pleasure to work with, Nonso is a leader who is able to present creative, and logical ideas and can communicate them effectively individually or in a team. Under his Assemblyman, who at the time was Chair of Verterans' Affairs, I watched him create a brief manual of veterans' benefits which kept veterans and constituents well-informed about State entitlements. I was very impressed about his knowledge of issues facing veterans and those within his Assemblyman's district. I was further impressed by his willingness listen to constituents' concerns, while actively communicating further needs of constituents to his directors in Albany and Syracuse. During his tenure in the Assembly, I noticed how Nonso apply himself to multiple areas of his office, instead of simply sitting back and answering phones. In addition to writing effective meeting memos, and preparing topics for debate, Nonso was an informative and willing participant during our weekly meetings with Dr. Roman Hedges, former Deputy Secretary of the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means, who oversaw our scholarship program and served as adviser for graduate interns. I highly recommend Nonso for any employment opportunity he is seeking. He is, without a question, a leader who is capable of functioning individually or on a team, and he would make a great asset to any organization lucky enough to employ him.
