As Creative Technologist, I conceptualize how technology can be used in exhibition designs and experiences. I collaborate with the design and content teams to fuse innovative technologies into the stories we tell. I cooperate with media producers to approach traditional media delivery in an unconventional way.As the Lab Director, I conceived of, proposed and created the Thinc’s VR & Prototype Lab. I created a 3D design VR workflow (Rhino to UnReal), and now direct and participate in the production of virtual reality models for both internal and client review during the design process. I am also responsible for prototype testing of mobile apps, augmented and virtual reality interfaces, and new methods of exhibition display.Virtual Reality: run the VR Lab responsible for design visualization for projects throughout the United States, Dubai & JordanProduction & Post-Production: create animations & video renderings of proposed exhibits for presentations, client presentation & approval Technical Consultation: provide ‘brainstorming’ consultation for the implementation of innovative technology and audio-visual elements for exhibition, mobile app and AR/VR/MR experiencesRelationship Building: participate in industry events and build relationships with companies providing technology and production servicesProposals & Documentation: contribute to new project and client proposals (written for the layperson) describing proposed new technology and how it can contribute to the exhibit’s experienceWeb Development: developed and implemented a new company website including a custom-built staff and client portal framework Show less

2003 - Present
In 2001, I became aware of that many small- to medium-sized businesses needed assistance in bridging the gap between their creative objectives and the fast-changing use of technology. At the same time, there was a movement for companies to outsource these types of services. So in 2002, I created a freelance firm to meet this need. I found a ‘niche’ for my business in explaining, designing and implementing technologies that small and medium-sized business owners wnvisioned but did not quite understand. I helped them identify their needs, define their goals, formulate a plan, and execute the project. I collaborated with a variety of artists and technicians for a variety of domestic and international clients. I managed the team resources and client relationships as well as providing graphic and website design, web development, video production and post-production (motion graphics and animation) services.
