Responsibility for all things tech and data related. Examples include building an in-house finance forecasting tool and creating a detailed data pack for participants of our Hackathon - this involved going through all the datasets and APIs we received, familiarizing myself with them and how to navigate around them and then putting it into a concise and consistent format for participants to access. We also performed an innovation consultancy project with a major transport company, working in close partnership with them and interviewing their staff to come with ideas on how they can incorporate more innovation in their practices. I led on most of the interviews and contributed in producing a detailed report.

Worked solo on a number of VR projects in Unity with C#. Initially it was a series of simulations to aid with mental health anxiety issues, but subsequently this idea was scrapped and I moved on to producing a VR shooter with a flexible weapons system to allow for all sorts of crazy weapons. Responsibility for teaching Physics to ten classes from years 7-11, as well as shared A-level classes with a special responsibility for developing students’ practical skills. Forming excellent student relationships and thorough usage of data for assessment were particular strengths. I was offered a permanent Maths teaching position, but I turned it down in favour of doing an MSc in Computer Science at UCL. I was later asked again if I would return to teach Physics, but again turned it down to try something new in tech.
