  I am a member of the Regulatory and Financial Services team at Maples. I provide all aspects of regulatory and financial services advice, including in respect of Cayman Islands licensing, prudential and conduct of business requirements, reporting and information exchange obligations (including those deriving from FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard (CRS)), and advice on data protection and duties of confidentiality, anti-corruption and bribery, anti-money laundering and combating of terrorist finance. I joined Maples and Calder in 2015 having previously led the Cayman Islands regulatory practice of another offshore law firm. Prior to that, I was a senior associate in the Financial Institutions group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP's corporate department in London. I am ranked by Who's Who Legal and named as a rising star in IFLR1000. I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and have lived and worked in Brazil. See less Show less
