Responsible for the design, implementation and management of the highly successful High Performance Technologies Investment Programme, funded through the Regional Growth Fund and European Regional Development Fund. The programme awarded £1.5million in grants to 38 businesses which safeguarded and created 473 jobs and levered nearly £10m in private sector investment. Far exceeding the programme targets. The programme was featured in the RGF Annual Monitoring Report published by BIS in July 2014.Established and managed a second £4m RGF programme focused on R&D projects across both the NEP and neighbouring SEMLEP areas.
