Cathy was one of the Most Positive forces in our entire IT Division! somehow through the Gloom of our environment Cathy Was Always The Positive Force!!!!!!
Scott Ogawa
Cathy has worked for me in multiple contexts. As Manager of Telecommunications at University Hospital, SUNY Stony Brook, she directed all voice and paging operations. She was responsible for at 24X7 operation and performed her job flawlessly. Given that this was the largest medical center on Long Island and a highly unionized shop, Cathy was continuosly involved in delicate labor relations matters. Her ability to seek out fair and equitable solutions for both managment and labor earned her respect on both sides of the equation. Cathy was instrumental in negotiating contracts with vendors in both the voice and data arenas, which resulted in cost savings and increased operational efficiency. I could always count on Cathy to bring the right solutions to the table. Her "people skills" are perhaps her greatest strength. She is always cool under fire and never panics. This was also evident later as Cathy served my new organization as a human resources recruiter. She is a great judge of people and always brought forward only the best candidates who fit the organization. I unequivocally recommend Cathy's work.
