Fran Wade
Although I was appointed as a senior graphic designer to Cathy, and indeed I was twice senior to her by age, I found her to be at a professional and competent level that belied her years. I greatly admired her driven work ethic that so many young people today sadly lack. She understood the unwritten rule to try to "get the job done" even if it meant staying late by a couple of hours, and she was very proud of her punctuality and would always be at her desk ahead of starting time. She was a very supportive colleague and contributed greatly with initiatives to create better work flow systems. Her positive, upbeat, pleasant manner and wonderful sense of humour made her a joy to work with. She is very competent and experienced in all of the design programs, and in her spare time, she is quite an accomplished photographer though she is too modest to admit this.
