  Outreach Manager at Duet: Partners in Health and Aging. Plans and executes strategic outreach goals to advance Duet's mission and significantly increase its visibility within the community to inspire people to utilize services and volunteer. “I joined the Duet team to serve the community in a meaningful way and look forward to broadening my skills in engaging marginalized communities and recruiting a diverse base of volunteers.” I have several years nonprofit experience and was at Global Pathways Institute/ASU and Experience Matters prior to that. While at GPI, I managed career development programs in the community and collaborated with partners in business, education, government, and philanthropy to ensure delivery of service to students. I was previously Talent Engagement Manager at Experience Matters and managed a base of over 1200 volunteers through community outreach, professional development, and execution of talent engagement programs. My responsibilities also included managing a large portfolio of Experience Matters member organizations and developed strategies for addressing high priority needs and making recommendations among the suite of Experience Matters services to satisfy those needs. I completed an Encore Fellowship position with the City of Phoenix Mayor’s Office launching and managing a national literacy tutoring program. The program served students from vulnerable populations at several elementary schools in the metro Phoenix area and reported measurable outcomes in reading fluency for grades 1 through 3. I'm a proud Sun Devil and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts with a minor in Communications from Arizona State University. Show less
