Throughout this placement, I was exposed to a variety of medical and surgical patients with a wide range of severity, affecting both mobility and respiratory health. I learned how to liaise closely within an MDT setting to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient, as well as involvement in complex discharge planning. I was fortunate enough to shadow the Physiotherapists in the Intensive Care Unit for 2 days which was also an incredible learning experience for me. Throughout this placement, I was exposed to a variety of medical and surgical patients with a wide range of severity, affecting both mobility and respiratory health.
