Art Instructor
-
May 2017 - Sep 2018
I am the instructor for the Tuesday night classes - I teach kids 8-12 years old a variety of processes and skills related to the creation of art. My belief is that this space and time should be theirs and so I encourage suggestions from each student when it comes to which techniques they'd like to explore. Kids so often don't get to dictate anything in their lives, it is my hope that this class will empower them. I want each child who participates in my class to feel like they have a voice and that they are heard. I use my seven years of experience as a student to inform my teaching practice. Show less
