  I have dedicated my career to dentistry spending the past thirty years working in administration and management in both the private sector and in large regional payer/insurance systems. I am currently the Vice President of Client Relations for Nevada Dental Benefits, a dental insurance company that serves over 150,000 Nevadans. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of pioneering dental care management and care coordination programs that have increased awareness of the importance of oral health and its impact on general health, wellbeing and productivity for hundreds of thousands of Nevadans. In addition, I have had experience working with thousands of union employees, promoting prevention and health education. In my volunteer role as Secretary of the United Labor Agency of Nevada I have been able to help raise funding and give support for working families going through tough times . I am have been the volunteer Chair for the Community Coalition for Oral Health for Southern Nevada for the past two years. This coalition is committed educating and improving oral health for Nevadans. I also serve on the Bernie Buckley Golf Charity Tournament to help raise money for children's charity. I have enjoyed being resident of Nevada for 37 years and attended attended UNLV. Show less
