As a GM of a new initiative at Uber Eats, Cat was one of my most trusted, effective and impactful cross-functional partners. Cat was particularly effective at (1) building trust with our new team (2) designing creative solutions to engage and inspire our national sales force to sell a new product and (3) advocating for resources for our business line internally. Specifically with building trust, Cat spent time meeting 1:1 with every individual on our team on a regular cadence to better understand their goals and how she could help those goals be achieved. She guided the team through structuring their projects that needed seller participation so that they could get maximum buy-in from the sellers. In many ways she helped us develop a seller’s mindset so that we could be better partners to our sales force.
