Catherine Griffin

I met Catherine In the Boise School District when she mentored Title 1 intervention programs in 1999 at Madison Elementary School in Boise. I later worked with her in the Nampa School district when she taught and implemented school wide SIOP training in the elementary school where I taught bilingual special education students. This experience influenced me to seek a Master's in Linguistics from College of Idaho and to specialize in supporting students who are both ELL and special education students. My Ed. S and PhD was inspired by this initial exposure to bilingual education I was and still am inspired by Catherine's dedication and enthusiasm for teaching and improving educational systems.

She is a visionary who has the ability to work hard, pull the right folks together, and really makes magic happen through collaboration! Her upbeat personality and positive attitude make her a joy to be around. It is an honor to partner and work alongside her!
