Responsible for the oversight and management of a five person team of commercial general liability adjusters. Responsibilities include making sure coverage is appropriately addressed, claims are handled in a timely manner and to provide advice and direction to the claim handler to be able to move the claim towards resolution. Duties include approval of large loss reports, granting authority request for resolution, reviewing coverage letters and reservation of rights letters, conducting file reviews, and helping with the ongoing training and continuing education of the unit members. My unit handles primarily complex commercial general liability claims with complex coverage issues.
