Responsible for developing and leading admissions and enrolment initiatives that contribute significantly to an outstanding applicant experience and that positively impact on student recruitment targets and the college reputation. My team has recently been restructured, giving me the opportunity to review and streamline all the processes in order to further improve the quality of the service provision.Management, planning and co-ordination of the annual enrolment process for the entire college. Ensuring all prospective students receive an individualised service, which enhances the personal experience, welcoming the young person to the South Downs College community.Currently implementing an online enrolment process for part-time courses, which has been developed in response to student need.

Student Financial Support Manager

Strategic role in developing and leading the implementation of the college financial and travel assistance initiatives, leading to increased retention and success of this vulnerable group of students.Member of the safeguarding panel. I have a passion for protecting and supporting young people who, by no fault of their own, find themselves vulnerable. I therefore have an extensive working knowledge of the policies and procedures and am very aware of the Prevent agenda. I have experience of attending Looked After Child reviews, Child Protection Order meetings along with the solemn experience of a Serious Case Review.

Student Welfare Manager

I planned and built the welfare team from scratch during a time when the Government withdrew many support services within the community, leaving the college the only supportive network for many of our vulnerable young people. I was the main safeguarding lead within the college.
