  I have over 30 years’ experience managing the design and delivery of strategic Digital and Technology services, resulting in significant operational changes for many global blue chip clients. I have a particular interest in ensuring that strategic transformational changes made to technology services are established successfully in the business and generate real business value. Recent examples of my work include; - I developed a new technology sourcing strategy for a large UK life, pensions and investment company which focused upon prioritising strategic supplier partnerships and reducing the overall number of vendors, and which also ensure selection of the right supplier for each service, in the right location, whilst maintaining the correct level of internal capability to maximise value from the contract. I then led a team to implement a delivery services framework with responsibility for providing competitive, standardised services for the majority of application platforms. - The technology department of one of the largest UK central government departments had a complex, siloed and multi-sourced landscape. They had recently completed a high-level target operating model, I led an experienced team to enable delivery of a change programme to deliver the TOM, increasing value for money (VFM) while protecting service delivery. - I led a team of subject matter experts, and provided external design assurance, to a large UK central government department integrating its digital, technology and data functions into a new technology operating model. - I developed the technology sourcing and operating model for a new FinTech division of a large global bank. In a complex environment, with many external dependencies, I helped the bank understand requirements, establish a suitable technical reference architecture, assessed and prioritised solutions and providers, baselined the business case for technology delivery, and developed the technology elements of the FCA application.
