This job involved providing efficient and friendly service to a wide range of customers at weekends and vacations. This work experience involved: • Preparing a guide on how to use the Met Office’s new programme ‘Decider’ which helps predicts weather up to 30 days in advance. • Giving a presentation to senior members of the organisation. • Attending and taking part in meetings throughout the week and shadowing various members of other departments within the Met Office team. This gave me exposure to several roles within the organisation and insight into how it was run.
