I have had the pleasure to work with Catherine while writing a grant for Somerset Community College. She is committed to research and data driven decisions and is able to incorporate the student experience to form a complete student story.

I managed the day-to-day operation of our in-house Solution Center (an internal Student Services Call Center) as well as the operational resources. Part of the function of the Solution Center is to maintain an in-depth knowledge of all student services: Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Advising, Student Accounts, and Information Technology issues to aid faculty, staff, and students with various issues that impact each of these areas. Interviewed, hired, and trained part-time staffing pool for the Solution Center. As the College’s Student Service Center Tier II Lead, I functioned as a liaison between KCTCS’ Systems Office Virtual Student Services, Blackboard Student Service Center (third party vendor), and various College constituents to provide updated knowledge-base information, quality review, and troubleshooting. I created professional development programs to increase team cohesiveness, honesty, and individual awareness. This served to improve performance for various groups including SCC's Student Ambassador program, Admissions, Solution Center Staff, and college-wide meeting management professional developments. As the Co-Chair of SCC’s Quality Enhancement Plan Steering Committee, I led our committee in the development and creation of a comprehensive, holistic guided pathway for students from entry to completion.
