Katt's careful, quality-oriented approach made the software we shipped better, plain and simple. When I joined Xbox Music, Katt was one of the people who really helped me hit the ground running by ramping me up on app accessibility, and working closely with me to make sure we were fixing all the right issues with an ever-tightening release window. Her supportive and positive attitude kept the team running well; she did everything she could to make sure that we all had what we needed to do our best for our users. It was a pleasure working with her.

Talk to me about amplifying excellent game quality by leveraging data, tech/tools/automation, and manual verification! I am currently the quality lead for some awesome Xbox game titles. I own quality upstream, as well as the strategy for quality data, tech/tools/automation, and manual verification, and process optimization throughout the production cycle. I also champion accessibility and online safety. My specialty is in early quality onboarding of game titles (pre-production) and setting them up for success with a strong quality framework & infrastructure. Show less

My passion is in customer experience and delivering high-quality and engaging products - I help ensure that what we deliver is what the customer wants, that it provides an exceptional experience, and that it functions well above expectations. I have worked in enterprise security for about 3 years (both on the client-side for desktop security software, as well as in the backend services side for reliably delivering Microsoft security updates and antimalware definitions to machines across the globe). My more recent experience is in the entertainment sector for music apps and video apps on a multitude of platforms (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Phone 8, Windows Phone 8.1). My core responsibilities are in test automation, strategic directed ad-hoc testing to quickly identify problem areas and analyze patterns for failures (as well as determining ship readiness for the feature/app and signing off on these), coordinating quality-improvement efforts across feature teams/app teams, and managing manual resources for regression testing. Other relevant skills and experience on top of feature-level testing include accessibility testing (on Windows phone devices and Windows devices), localization & world-readiness testing (on Windows phone devices, Windows devices, and Xbox consoles), testing for consistent experience across platforms and across apps, and scenarios-based testing.
