Cat was one of my students in the UXDI Immersive at General Assembly. Besides being a great UX Designer, confident in all aspects of the design process, there are some key qualities I’d like to highlight which I think will help her thrive in the world of UX. Catherine is extremely smart, authentic and is a natural leader. In addition to that, she has a real understanding of how businesses work and how important it is to approach every product and service in an holistic way. This means that it comes natural to her to empathise with the user and at the same time consider the ecosystem in which the business operates. She has a relaxed approach but at the same time she is great at moving things forward, making sure that her work and team don’t lose momentum and deliver high standard work.
