  Living in a rural village in North West Bangladesh, I worked on health rights in a small, deprived community. Responsibilities included planning and holding school sessions on health topics (family planning, menstruation, nutrition), training youth club members to become ‘peer educators’ for local health issues, and helping renovate female common rooms in local schools.
