Planned and performed weekly storytimes for ages 0-5, and monthly craft and STEM programs for ages 6-12. Ran the makerspace for grades 3-6, including maintaining the 3D printer, and finding and installing new technology and art projects to include in the room. Planned an art-themed Fall series of programs by hiring performers and soliciting programs from colleagues. Managed the circulating technology for Children's Library, including circulating iPads and STEM kits. Launched a Junior version of our standard STEM kit by introducing 5 new kits for ages 4-7. Managed the video game and audio CD collection, including ordering (through Midwest Tape and online retailers) and weeding. Ordered patron request books for the Children's Library (through Baker & Taylor and online retailers). Assisted in Children's Library promotion by creating calendars, posters, brochures, web events, bulletin boards, and Mailchimp eblasts. Provided service to the public at the Children's desk, at computers, via email and on the phone. Performed opening and closing procedures and was the in-charge point person on weekends on a rotating basis. Managed 6 budget lines on a quarterly basis with a combined budget of $7,250

We met 6 times, in person and remotely, and advocated for our favorite books based on age appropriateness, diversity, and educational potential.
