Cathy Kruger is not only a brilliant leader in all that she tackles but she is the most tireless worker I know. Any organization that has Cathy working for them has to be the luckiest and wisest to have chosen her. Boundless energy, creativity and integrity. A magical combination. No one could do a better job or hold a candle to Cathe.

The Phelophepa Trains, known as the "Train of Hope" (by those it serve) are health care clinics aboard two state-of-the-art trains that travel to remote areas of South Africa delivering primary healthcare and education to towns and schools that have very limited access to basic medical care. It benefits from worldwide partnerships and donations and has treated over 23 million youth and adults over the last 21 years. Archbishop-Emeritus Desmond Tutu and his wife Leah are among the many longstanding patrons. Cathe began her career in the social welfare working as a trained social worker and Chief Probation Officer within the South African Government. Later on she became involved in corporate communications for organizations such as: South African National Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependency, The Cancer Association of South Africa, The National Council for Child Welfare and others. She was the founder of of Insight Communications & Promotions, a cause related marketing and PR firm, where she raised millions of US dollars for a number of charitable causes. Cathe is an excellent networker. She has built a client/donor base of almost 5000 corporate companies, funding agencies and individuals, globally and in South Africa over the past 20 years. Her success is highlighted by her interface with global business leaders and governmental offices in the USA, Europe. UK and South Africa. Her networking skills and her ability to ‘open doors’ in both the corporate and governmental fields is a huge asset in the success she achieves, in making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged and marginalized people in South Africa.
