In 2018, I moved to Dublin and started working in ‘The Sports bar of the year’, Bar 51. Here I learned how a bar functions, from customer service to overall production. I have used my knowledge of Whiskey to sell the large repertoire available at the bar. I currently hold a senior role at the residence and help to ensure the highest level of service. In the summer of 2019, I was granted a J1 Visa and worked in the highly acclaimed ‘International Sports Training Camp’ in Pennsylvania USA. Working as Recreation Director, I was in charge of entertainment for the 350 children weekly. I organised events and competitions for each cabin and utilised my creative mindset in order to give the campers an unforgettable experience daily. At the end of my first year of college, I created ‘Just Like Us’, a four piece Folk Pop group. I was the lead singer and songwriter of the group. We produced 5 singles in Jealoustown studios and shot a number of music videos to match. While managing the band, it was my job to study the latest trends in order to find the best way possible to market the band. I grew our following on Instagram to 1,400 and almost 3,000 likes on Facebook. We managed to secure a number of Live performances on Ireland's Top Radio Stations, as well as Playing sold out Gigs in Monroes Galway, Riverfest Limerick and Electric Picnic. Our debut single ‘That’s alright’ Won ‘Single of the Week’ on RTE 2FM Eoghan Mcdermott show, and granted us a live performance in the renowned Studio 8 of RTE. To date, our songs have surpassed the 600,000 mark on Spotify.

Colaiste Lurgan is noted to be Ireland’s most famous Gaeltacht due to their Irish Music Department. Here I worked as head of production, selecting suitable songs to be covered in Irish by the students. I organised the recording and production of the music videos which were relayed to their 116K Subscribers. These can be viewed on TG Lurgan Youtube. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to work with Slane Whiskey Distillery under the ownership of Brown Forman. We undertook a four week intensive training course which taught us everything we would need for the role. During this time, I helped to draft the first script for our interactive Distillery tour. I pride myself on having been selected to give the very first tour of Slane Whiskey Distillery to International Ambassador Alex Coyningham and Chairman of Brown Forman, George Garvin Brown IV.

When I was 14 years of age, I bought a ukulele and taught myself the basic skills needed to play. I then began to compose my own songs which I published on my own Facebook music page. I solely marketed this page and grew the audience to over 10,000 likes, with a combined view count of over 2.5 Million people reached. Through this page, I was commissioned to write a number of jingles for business such as Bank Of Ireland, LMFM Radio and a number of startup smart phone applications. During my time at TKMAXX, I learned the importance of working in a team and often lead the team in delivering a quality service. I managed the storage and organisation of our stock, as well as handling cash transactions. I gained excellent customer service skills through communicating with customers and learning from more senior staff.
