      Working on behalf of Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) Cath is responsible for delivering the SPT Safety Verification Scheme and safety assurance plans, both of which she created. Cath works with the Joint Venture designing and implementing the new trains, control and communications system to ensure the project technical and safety deliverables are provided at the correct time in the project life cycle.A critical element to the coordination of the technical and safety assurance is ensuring the new control and communication system are introduced in a safe manner with no disruptions to the current operation.
