Approved contract trainer to deliver the 7-hour mandated course sometimes called ‘Responding to Abuse & Neglect: Education and Care’ (RAN) or ‘Child Safe Environments: Reporting Abuse and Neglect’ (CSE). Training was delivered primarily to teachers in South Australia who must undertake appropriate Mandatory Notification Training (MNT). In accordance with legislation training was also delivered to other professionals whose work involves dealing with children. Initial completion of a full day (7-hour) face-to-face MNT course followed by 3-hour refreshers to maintain certification.
