Before the wedding, we talk ideas. The creative couple informs me of anything I can't miss, and I share my suggestions for your video. It's always so exciting and humbling to be part of someone's special day, and capture their vision of love. As I travel in, I elevate my vibe, and focus in on being present in each moment. Stealth and stamina keep me slinking right out of your way! Most of the time you can pretend I am not even there. I utilize candid-style shooting more than directing, finding balance between the two. I lean on my service industry skills to provide a comfortable and engaging experience for everyone. I am LGBTQIA+ Friendly!

Few people understand what goes into the theater of running a restaurant, and how hard the people there are working to make you happy. Growing up in a restaurant comes with a million, priceless, real life lessons. From Humility to multitasking, to having a good sense of humor. Hospitality often means putting others first to create an excellent experience, but also knowing that you just can't please everyone. I learned how and when to say no to people, and when it is time to take care of my own needs.

I started my internship making promotional videos for NCM, formerly known as PortMedia.I was hired as a Production Assistant and I filmed local school & city council meetings, as well as high school sports games, including football, basketball, and hockey. My favorite game to film was hockey, as it was the most challenging to follow. I was responsible for set up/break down of equipment at games and school meetings, and I got familiar with live broadcast systems. At city council meetings I was the director and switched shots between 3 robotic cameras over a live shoot which lasted between 1-3 hours. I then became Production Coordinator and planned and ran creative video camps for kids, overseeing groups of about 10 kids ages 9-13, and taught them the trials and tribulations of shooting and editing, all while making sure their content was appropriate and equipment was being used properly. In my later days I became a content producer, and helped others in the community create works they used to showcase locally, such as a series of videos to celebrate Women's herstory Month, one in which I was fortunate enough to interview a female filmmaker from Newburyport, Nikole Beckwith. I also had the pleasure of creating visual stories based on the impressive collections of works written by local historian, Jean Foley Doyle, which were showcased at the local community center, as well as downtown at the FireHouse Center for the Arts. After leaving NCM, I went on to pick up freelance works of my own, and I still have a passion for creating.

I grew up going to this Art camp as a kid. I was so excited to be put in a position of responsibility while still having fun at camp. The five rotating workshops were Art, Craft, Theater, Nature, and Community. We played lots of camp games and created many diverse bodies of art work, most of the time utilizing recycled materials. Fun fact: Joe Keery worked at this camp while I was there, as a Nature Specialist. After I left, I came back to create a series of promotional videos for the camp.
